Use FoundBefore only for lawful, authorised business discovery, evaluation, collaboration and consent-controlled introductions. Respect confidentiality, data-protection, competition, sanctions, export-control, employment, safety and sector-specific rules.

2. Privacy and confidentiality

  • Do not identify or contact anonymous participants before consent.
  • Do not submit personal, confidential or third-party information without authority and a valid purpose.
  • Do not use protected opportunity data for cold outreach, public listings, external directories or unrelated profiling.
  • Do not export, combine or retain data beyond the permission and purpose for which it was supplied.

3. Integrity and fair dealing

  • No impersonation, false evidence, fabricated capacity, misleading claims or manipulated outcomes.
  • No discriminatory, exploitative, fraudulent, sanctioned or otherwise unlawful activity.
  • No coordination of prices, markets, bids, customers or other anti-competitive conduct.
  • No use of outputs as a substitute for required professional, legal, financial or safety review.

4. Security and platform abuse

  • No malware, phishing, credential sharing, access-control bypass, vulnerability exploitation or service disruption.
  • No scraping, bulk extraction, automated account creation or unapproved high-volume requests.
  • No reverse engineering except where a non-waivable law expressly permits it.
  • Report vulnerabilities safely and do not access another organisation's data.

5. Restricted information

Do not submit special-category personal data, criminal records, payment-card data, authentication secrets, export-controlled material or regulated professional records unless FoundBefore has explicitly approved the workflow and the law permits it.

6. Enforcement and appeal

We may preserve evidence, limit features, suppress an opportunity, restrict an organisation or suspend an account. Measures are proportionate to risk and recorded in an audit trail. Contact support to contest a decision. Serious illegality or immediate risk may be reported to the competent authority.
